It was the early 90’s when the founder of FishHook Digital first began dreaming of creating industrial video while he worked in the warehouse of Michael Weinig Inc. The world class German woodworking machinery company made high tech wood molders and it was by watching the engineers work with these incredible machines and travel to far off places to repair them and train workers who used them that Lee began thinking of how video could help the company save money in travel by doing a lot of the tasks the engineers had to do. In 1995 when Lee Fishburne first understood what the internet was and how video would eventually become a crucial part of websites and online entertainment, he hoped one day he could make videos to be distributed online. Although he saw the need for digital video more than a decade before he began producing, Lee has been filming video since NYE 2008. Later that year his first published video won Crest Toothpaste’s Whitening Expression’s Catch Phrase Video Contest with the phrase FanTaste-ic! His catch phrase entry was framed in an original jingle and music performance captured in a 30 second video. After that, and with the new video gear he purchased from the contest win, he began filming live music from multiple (5) camera angles.

Lee filmed live music performances and created music festival recap videos for the better part of 10 years until the pandemic wiped out scheduled events. It was then that Lee focused on his commercial video aspirations and today, as of late summer 2023 has been producing commercial video for 2 years. The videos created for businesses so far can be seen via this portfolio link and also the portfolio button on this site’s home page.

There are a variety of ways digital video can be distributed. Lee wants to help businesses succeed and to give them the best video for their budget.
